Choose a place to begin
If you know a few common words, try A1. A0 starts with the basics; A2, B1, and B2 offer progressively more language. These labels are starting points, not a test you need to pass. C1 and C2 samples are also available for advanced readers.
Read a short passage and see whether you can follow what happens. Use a word explanation when you need it, or choose an easier story if you are stopping in every sentence.
