Putting no before the verb
Put no before the conjugated verb and any object pronouns: No tengo hambre. No lo entiendo.

Basic Negation
Put no right before the verb.
No soy español.
I am not Spanish.
Expressing Lack
Place no before the verb; object pronouns can come between them, as in no lo tengo.
No tengo hermanos.
I don't have siblings.
Common mix-ups
In this ordinary negative statement, put no before soy. Object pronouns, when present, follow no and precede the verb.
I am not Spanish.
Try a reply
Say or write your answer in Spanish before opening the example.
I cannot find it. Use la for it and encontrar in the present.
